Martha Eleanor Nordike, age 79, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2019, at Cassville Healthcare and Rehab. Mrs. Nordike, daughter of John and Eleanor (Winkler) Hallstrom, was born on August 16, 1940, Melrose, Massachusetts. Following high school graduation she was united in marriage to Kenneth C. Gilford and to this union four children were born. On April 13, 1985, Martha was united in marriage to Dean Nordike in Miami, Oklahoma; he survives. Mrs. Nordike enjoyed crocheting, quilting, and being with her family.

Additional survivors include three sons, Kenneth Gilford and his wife Nancy, of Elizabethton, Tennessee; Timothy Gilford and his wife Donna, of Ipswich, Massachusetts, and Theodore Gilford, of Merrimac, Massachusetts; her step-daughter, Patricia Gregory, of Shaddock, Illinois; nine grandchildren, one great-grandchild; two brothers, Bob Hallstrom, of New Hampshire, and Wayne Hallstrom, of Vermont; one sister, Andrea Brown, of Maine; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and her first husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Kathi Desmond.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
