Martin Larry Arndt, Sr., age 80, of Branson, Missouri, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2022, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation of Cassville. Son of Harry and Ora (Callison) Arndt, Martin was born on March 25, 1942, in Norwich, Kansas. A 1960 graduate of Cheney High School, Martin would go on to sell life insurance, and later work for Tyson Foods. On August 31, 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska, Martin was united in marriage to Frances Bachel; she survives.
Martin enjoyed seeing the stage shows in Branson, Missouri, with his dear wife, Frances. They also loved driving coast to coast together, visiting each and every National Park along the way. Martin enjoyed the great outdoors and going fishing. Martin was a good man and will be remembered fondly by all who knew and loved him.
Martin is survived by four sons, Martin Arndt, Jr., and his wife Terri, of New York, New York, Alan Arndt, and his wife April, of Shell Knob, Missouri, Scot Arndt, and his wife Kari, Brad-Lee Arndt, and his wife Khristina, all of Cassville; one daughter, Marcia Donnini, also of Cassville, Missouri; fifteen grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Marvin Arndt, and his wife Gloria, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and Melvin Arndt, and his wife Patsy, of Fort Worth, Texas; and one sister, Mary Lou Whiteker, and her husband, Chester, of Jerome, Idaho.
In addition to his parents, Harry and Ora Arndt, Martin was preceded in death by one brother, Max Arndt; one sister, Martha (Arndt) Wolf, and her husband, brother-in-law, Lee Wolf; and son in law, Gerald Donnini.
No services are scheduled at this time.
Memorial donations in honor of Martin Larry Arndt, Sr., can be made to the family, and entrusted to White Funeral Home, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory of Cassville, Missouri.
