Mary Ruth Homesley, 82, passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Lacoba Nursing Home in Monett, Missouri. Born to Daniel and Mable (England) May on December 28, 1942, in Monett, Missouri. Mary married her beloved husband Lanny Homesley on May 26, 1960, in Monett, Missouri. He passed away on June 11, 2018. Mary loved to sew, enjoyed going to flea markets, and was very interested in genealogy.

Survivors include one son, Tim Homesley and his wife Michelle of Billings, Missouri; two daughters, Lisa Cutten and her husband Clay of Rogers, Arkansas, and Sarah Elizabeth Cook and her husband John of Republic, Missouri; five grandchildren, Mark Cisco of Cassville, Missouri and  Aaron Cisco of Centerton, Arkansas, Paul, Lauren and Kaden Cook all of Republic, Missouri; seven great grandchildren; one sister, Martha Foster of Aurora, Missouri.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-eight years, Lanny Homesley; her parents Daniel and Mable May; three brothers, Daniel, James Lee, and Jerry May; three sisters, Norma McQueen, June Durham, and Sue Shoemaker.

Burial will be held at a later date at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter.

Arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
