Max Hudson, age 84, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri, on October 5, 2023. Max, son of Gene and Katy (Miller) Hudson, was born on March 22, 1939, in Cassville. Following his graduation from Cassville High School, he enlisted in the U.S. Army.
He was a naturalist and loved gigging and cattle ranching; he also enjoyed politics. He was a proud member of the Eagles Lodge.
Survivors include his son Mark Hudson of Jenkins; his granddaughter Amanda Hudson and her significant other Chace Ingelman, both of Jenkins; and his sister Jeanenne Lester of the state of Kansas.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Mal Hudson.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins, with Doug Fare officiating. Visitors are invited to congregate at Mark's house at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 12th.
