Michael Andrew Steele, age 53, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville, Missouri.  Mr. Steele, son of James Steele and Maria (Martin) Turnbull, was born on June 3, 1968, in Seattle, Washington.  On September 2, 1994, he was united in marriage to Cheryl Wescott in Las Vegas, Nevada.  Michael was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan, enjoyed working on puzzles, and working on his property.  He loved his dogs and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his loving wife, Cheryl Steele, of Washburn; one son, Richard DeMario and his wife Selma, of New Braunfels, Texas; one grandson on the way, Slade Michael DeMario; his mother, Maria Turnbull and her husband Tome, of Fort Worth, Texas; one sister, Jackie Hufnagle, of Warsaw; seven brothers, Mark Steele, of Hemmitt, California, Mathew Steele, of Mountain Home, Idaho, Jeremy Steele, of Richardson, Texas, Jason Steele, New Ulm, Minnesota, James Steele, of Seattle, Washington, Joshua Turnbull, of Menifee, California, and J.T. Lemmerman, of San Diego, California; his father in-law, Daniel Wescott, of Washburn, who he was very close to and held a special bond with; and several nieces and nephews.

Michael was preceded in death by his father and one son, Nicholas DeMario.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, December 10, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville.
