Nancy Gail Erickson, age 93, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Circle of Life Hospice in Bentonville, Arkansas.  Mrs. Erickson, daughter of John and Goldie (Baker) Smith, was born on January 10, 1929, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  On May 21, 1947, she was united in marriage to Larry Erickson in Des Moines, Iowa.

Mrs. Erickson enjoyed crossword puzzles and spending time at her local senior center. She was a member of the Shell Knob Lion's Club and a once active deacon at Trinity Presbyterian Church, where she did home visits with those in need. Nancy was a dearly beloved woman and a blessing to many; she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include three sons, Don Erickson and his wife Ola, of Shell Knob, David Erickson and his wife Kathi, of Forsythe, and Scott Erickson, of Springfield; one daughter, Denise Love and her husband Tony, of Walnut Grove; six grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; three sisters, Kitty Engel, of Blaine, Minnesota, Betty Ferguson and Dorothy Havrilak, both of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by two sisters and seven brothers.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at the Trinity Presbyterian Church in Shell Knob with Pastor Rev. Dr. Peggy Jo Wobbema officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lives Under Construction Boys Ranch in Lampe, and entrusted to the White Funeral Home, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
