Obituary

Nicholas Lee Harper, age 64, of Rudy, Arkansas, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 31, 2022.  Son of Ron and Carolyn (Brown) Harper, Nick was born on December 15, 1957, in Kansas City, Missouri.

A salesman by trade, Nick found success in the playground equipment market and with estate sales in the state of Arkansas. Nick enjoyed fishing, gardening, and cooking, but his true joy was found as a baseball fan and never missed an opportunity to watch his grandson pitch Nick was a passionate supporter of the Chiefs, Royals and the Razorback baseball teams. Nick was a dear soul; he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his three children, Nicholas Harper and his wife   Samantha, of Stotts City, Missouri, Erin Gandy and her  husband              Steven, Aurora, Colorado, and Kevin Harper, of Monett, Missouri; his father, Ron Harper and his wife Ann, of Mesa, Arizona; four                    grandchildren, Delbert Wade Harper, Kinley Brooke Gandy, Harper Lane Gandy, and Kori Nicole Gandy; one sister, Tammy Busby and her husband Jeff, of Nixa, Missouri; two uncles, Tim Brown and his wife Leesa, of Blue Springs, Missouri, and David Brown and his wife Teresa, of Lee's Summit, Missouri; one nephew, Landon O'Steen; and four nieces, Erica Mahn, Lauren O'Steen, Claudia O'Steen and Berlyn Busby.

Nick was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn Harper, and his grandparents, Johnny and Ava Brown.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 3, 2022, at the White Funeral Home in Cassville.

Graveside services to follow at 12:30 p.m. at Maplewood Cemetery in Exeter with words of comfort spoken by Steven Gandy.

Memorial contributions may be made to Maplewood Cemetery in memory if Nick and entrusted to the White Funeral Home, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Service arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
