Nora I. McCorkle, age 82, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Mrs. McCorkle, daughter of Thomas Christian and Pearl Alice (Wendt) Petersen, was born March 1, 1937, in Loleta, California. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and watching movies with her grandbabies.

Survivors include her daughter in-law, Valerie McCorkle, of Cassville; her grandson, Trent McCorkle and his wife Julie, of Cassville; her granddaughter, Justine Sarten and her husband Chris, of Edmond, Oklahoma; and her two great-grandchildren, Taylor and Tucker McCorkle, of Cassville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Michael McCorkle on May 13, 2019.

No services are planned at this time.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
