Otis Dale Reed, age 86, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023, at NHC HealthCare of Joplin. Son of Delmar and Geneva (Reddick) Reed, Otis was born on August 23, 1936, in Cassville, Missouri. In October of 1961, Otis was united in marriage to Nancy Myers in Miami, Oklahoma; she survives.

Otis served his nation proudly, and honorably, in the United States Army. An employee of Hiland Dairy, Otis delivered milk to homes, eventually transitioning to store delivery. An avid music fan, Otis spent his life collecting vinyl records. Otis was a good man, who will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his wife, Nancy (Myers) Reed, of Cassville, Otis is survived by three children, Jerry Dale Reed, of Cassville, Suzanne Rush, of Kimberling City, Melanie Skinner, and her significant other, Jeff Hutson, of Cassville; and seven grandchildren.

Otis was preceded in death by his parents, Delmar and Geneva (Reddick) Reed.

A private family burial will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory of Cassville.
