Patricia E. Brown, age 76, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, April 1, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Cassville. Mrs. Brown, daughter of Maxwell and Cecelia (Auburn) Nelson was born on May 8, 1941, in Los Angeles, California. On October 20, 1962, she was united in marriage to Jackie L. Brown in Reno, Nevada; he preceded her in death July 7, 2016. Mrs. Brown loved being around her grandchildren and always talked of her first great-grandson, Theodore. She enjoyed working on puzzles, coloring and was an avid reader. Mrs. Brown was a member of the St. Edward Catholic Church in Cassville.

Survivors include her son, Jeffrey Brown, of Exeter; her daughter, Jennifer Trent and her husband Mark, of Exeter; three grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kelli, and Austin; one great-grandson, Theodore Chantell; two sisters, Sharon Kidwell and Kathy Mason; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by an infant son, Terry Brown; one brother, Teddy Nelson; and one sister, Gerri Nelson.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018, at St. Edwards Catholic Church, Cassville, with The Reverend David Baunach, Celebrant.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
