Philip James Hall, age 75, of Holiday Island, Arkansas, passed away at Washington Regional Hospital in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Son of Frank and Ida (Warren) Hall, Philip was born on September 3, 1946, in San Bernadino, California. Philip was raised in Fair Oaks California. Amongst his friends growing up was Joanne Giebler. On November 21, 1970, he was united in marriage to Joanne Giebler in Fair Oaks. While married to the love of his life Philip enjoyed traveling; most happily in his motor home. Always ready with a joke, he and Joanne had many adventures and laughs while traveling throughout much of the US before settling in Holiday Island.

Philip was a Vietnam veteran, serving his nation proudly in the United States Army and earning a Purple Heart. Philip would go on to be a civil servant at the McClellan Air Force Base in Sacramento, California where he was an aircraft mechanic. Mr. Hall once served as Commander at VFW Post #77 and was a member of the American Legion Post #9 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.

Survivors include his loving wife, Joanne Hall, of Holiday Island, Arkansas; one son, Bert Hall and his husband Paul, of Sacramento; one daughter, Laura Hall, of Sacramento; one granddaughter, Ellie of Sacramento, and Samuel and Joel whom he considered as grandchildren; one sister, Pamela Eggert, of Sacramento; six nephews; and three nieces.

No services are scheduled at this time.  A private family service will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Flint Street Food Pantry or the Good Shepherd Humane Society, both of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and entrusted to the White Funeral Home, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
