Robert Lee Branham, age 67, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 24, 2021, at Cox Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Mr. Branham, son of Eulice and Reatha Belle (McGlothlin) Branham, was born on September 18, 1953, in Crane, Missouri. Robert grew up at the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch in Brighton, Missouri, making memories that lasted a lifetime. On August 31, 1979, he was united in marriage to Bobby Dossett in Monett. Together they shared a love some only dreamt about, they always enjoyed their time together making memories. Robert enjoyed working on his 1947 Ford car, fishing, hunting, his cattle, and canoeing. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his loving wife, Bobby Branham, of Exeter; two sisters, Wanda Flood and her husband Steve, and Carolyn Parnosky, all of Aurora; sister-in-law, Cappy Harris and her husband Steve, of Cassville; two brothers-in-law, Jim Dossett, of Cassville, and Wesley Harrison and his wife Kathy, of Greenfield; one step brother-in-law, Dennis Christie, of Monett; and his nieces and nephews who he helped raise as his own, Andrea Singletary, of Springfield, Christopher Parnosky, of Aurora, Curtis Parnosky, of Buffalo, Christina Gourd, of Monett, as well as many others who he loved dearly.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Branham; two sisters, Janice Parnosky and her significant other John Gourd, and Sharon Branham Lassitter and her husband Vernie; two brothers-in-law, Butch and Curtis Parnosky; his step-sister, Julie Christie; three sisters-in-law, Honey Marie Singletary, Hazel Dossett, and Kellie Harrison; and special friend and uncle, Keith Harrison.
No services are scheduled at this time. A gathering of family and friends will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions made in memory of Robert may be made to the Good Samaritan Boys Ranch in Brighton and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
