Rod Brandt, age 77 of Cassville, Missouri, went to be with the LORD on August 28, 2023, at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri. Son of Simon and Marian (Elfrink) Brandt, Rod was born in Melvin, Iowa on his family farm, February 13, 1946.

In 1980, Rod became a Corporate Stockbroker for Prudential Securities. Upon retirement, he and his wife, Cathy, moved to Cassville, Missouri.

A staunch President Trump supporter, he really enjoyed discussing politics, but his favorite topic of conversation was the Lord and scripture.

Rod will be missed by his wife Cathy, his children Shaun, Michelle, Barbie, Sherry, and Jennifer, and reunited with his son Jimmy.

In his spare time, he loved working in his wood shop, shooting his guns, nature watching from his back deck, spending time with his kittens, and playing golf.

A celebration of life will be held at First Baptist Church on Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 11 a.m.
