Roger Ronald Richards, age 82, of Golden, Missouri, passed away at his home on Wednesday, December 28, 2022. Son of Bob and Marrianne (VanAntwerp) Richards, Roger was born on May 25, 1940, in Callaway, Nebraska.

Roger worked all his life in construction, running heavy equipment and machinery. After relocating from Nebraska to Colorado, Roger would eventually make his home in the Ozarks in 1985. Roger ran his own business, Richard's Equipment & Leasing, Inc., right until the end. One of Roger's favorite places to be was on a backhoe. Roger also had a love for a pool cue, running many pool tournaments over the years, from Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to the Office Pub in Eagle Rock, Missouri.

Roger is survived by his wife, Deanie Richards; daughters, Debra Brandwein, and her husband Shawn, of Billings, Missouri and April Sartin; sister-in-law and caregiver, Rose Pierson; niece, Lesley Griboski, of Florida; nephew, Stevie Griboski, of Colorado; as well as many life-long friends.

In addition to his parents, Bob and Marrianne Richards, of Golden, Missouri, Roger was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Griboski, of Denver, Colorado; one brother, Roy Richards, of Golden, Missouri; and one daughter, Kami Richards, of California.

A Celebration Of Life will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home & Crematory of Cassville, Missouri.
