Rolena Mae Church, age 57, of Schell City, Missouri, passed away on Friday, December 7, 2018, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  Mrs. Church, daughter of Jerry David and Regina Ann (Wyrick) Gatewood, was born on August 14, 1961, in Kansas City, Kansas.  She enjoyed the outdoors and playing computers.  Mrs. Church loved spending time with her children and grandchildren, and will be greatly missed.  She attended the Schell City First Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Jeremy Gatewood, of Rogers, Arkansas, and Kip Church, Jr. and his wife Tracy, of Purdy; one daughter, Rachael Thornton and her husband Tommy, of Schell City; ten grandchildren; and one sister, Vicki Jett, of Norwood.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, David Gatewood.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Schell City First Baptist Church with Pastor Doug Reynolds officiating. A private family burial will be held in Fort Scott, Kansas.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville.
