Ronald Robert Olds, age 65, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away at his home on Monday, April 26, 2021. Mr. Olds, son of Lyle and Loretta (O'Brien) Olds, was born on February 29, 1956, in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. On August 9, 1986, he was united in marriage to Annette Jones and to this union four children were born. Ron loved the outdoors where he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and searching for mushrooms. His children and grandchildren were his world and he loved spending time with them. Ron attended Rock Springs Church in Seligman. He was a dear friend to so many, leaving a lasting impression in so many lives and he will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his children, Alesha Finley and her significant other, Spencer, of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Kimberly Olds, Karra Olds and her significant other George, Robert Olds, all of Seligman; David Stephens and Paige Jenkins, who he was very close to and considered them as his own, both of Seligman; ten grandchildren, Arianah Stephens, Landon Stephens, Braylee Olds, Aaron Reed, EllaJune Chandler, Nevaeh Olds, Natalia Olds, Novalee Olds, Gabriel Olds, and Chloe Olds; the mother of his children and special friend, Annette Horton, of Seligman; four brothers, Frank Olds, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Melvin Olds, of Hibbing, Minnesota, Carl Olds, of Nashwauk, Minnesota, and Steve Potasnak and his wife Joyce, of Monett; five sister, Alice Hawkinson, of Grand Rapids, Minnesota, Margaret Loger, of Pipestone, Minnesota, Dorothy Finch, of Berryville, Arkansas, Charlotte Denzey, of Dovey, Minnesota, and Jill Potasnak, of Monett; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Olds and Bruce Potasnak; and one sister, Lila Olds.
A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 15, 2021, at the Gateway Park in Gateway, Arkansas.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
