Ronnie Ray Adkins, age 69, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Monday, May 25, 2026, in Cassville, surrounded by the place and life he loved most.

Ronnie was born in Man, West Virginia, to Donnie and Carrie (Hazelette) Adkins.

Music was a huge part of Ronnie's life and soul. He had a deep love for music and could play many different instruments, filling countless moments with songs, laughter, and memories. Whether sitting around with friends or simply enjoying a quiet evening, music was never far from Ronnie's heart.

He loved the simple joys of country living and took great pride in his farm, where he raised chickens, rabbits, and turkeys. Ronnie was happiest outdoors back roading through the woods, riding his Harley down the open road, or spending time hunting, fishing, boating, and scuba diving. Nature brought him peace, adventure, and freedom.

Ronnie was also someone who could rarely sit still. If something needed fixing or tuning up, you could almost always find him outside tinkering on a mower, working on his bike, or repairing anything that needed a little extra care and attention. He had a natural talent for working with his hands and enjoyed staying busy.

More than anything, Ronnie will be remembered for his free spirit, his love for the outdoors, his passion for music, and the way he truly enjoyed life on his own terms. His memory will live on in every country road, every song played, and every peaceful moment spent outdoors.

Ronnie is survived by one son, Andrew Adkins of Cassville, Missouri; one daughter, Olivia Otto and her significant other Blayne Foster of Cocoa, Florida; one sister, Patsy Nape of Cassville, Missouri; and one brother, Jeff Tarr of Springfield, Missouri.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
