Ronald "Ronnie" Clifton Hendrix, age 64, of Washburn, Missouri, went to be with his Lord and Savior surrounded by his family on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Ronnie, son of Clifton and Elizabeth (Powers) Hendrix, was born on March 3, 1957, at home in Washburn, Missouri. Ronnie had a huge heart, never met a stranger, and would always welcome you with a big smile and a warm hug. He loved football especially his Dallas Cowboys and could tell you anything you wanted to know about his favorite team. Some of Ronnie's favorite pastimes were riding his Welsh Pony Bill when his was younger, reading sports magazines of all sorts, and spending time with family and friends. He was a member of Mission Baptist Church in Washburn. Ronnie touched so many hearts, left a lasting impression on so many lives and will be greatly missed.
Survivors include his mom, Elizabeth Hendrix, of Washburn; one brother, Robert Hendrix and his wife Liana, of Washburn; three sisters, Glenda Brattin and her husband Greg, of Exeter, Frankie Stewart and her husband Dale, of Washburn, and Lisa Sickles and her husband Billy, all of Washburn; seven nieces and nephews, T.J. Marney, Justin Brattin and his wife Jessika, Christina Escobedo and her husband Adan, Hannah Hendrix and her fiancé Justin Ingram, Allen Hendrix, Tommy Sickles and his fiancé Macky McNabb, and Travis Sickles; eight great-nieces and nephews; and a host of aunts and uncles, and other extended family members that all loved him dearly.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Clifton Hendrix on December 6, 2006; and his niece, Chelsey Brattin-Davis on July 30, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory in Cassville with Pastor Rick Hendrix officiating. Burial to follow at King Cemetery in Seligman.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 13th at the funeral home.
Service arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
