Ronnie Ray Tollison, age 72, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed at his home on Saturday, July 18, 2020.  Mr. Tollison, son of Jack and Elizabeth (Wittaker) Tollison, was born on August 8, 1947, in Modesto, California.  Subsequent to graduating high school Mr. Tollison enlisted in the United States Marines and served his country proudly for ten years, including three tours in Vietnam.  On June 5, 1988, he was united in marriage to Sharon Ann Davis in Modesto.  Ronnie enjoyed fishing and moved to the Eagle Rock area in 2003 to be closer to the water. He had a huge heart for the community and was active in the local Eagle Rock Community Center (E.R.C.A.), he never met a stranger and would do anything to help others.

Ronnie was active in the Eagle Rock Golden Mano Fire Department and was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3199 in Modesto, California.

Survivors include four sons, John Lopez and his wife Lisa, of Suwanee, Georgia, Laman Lopez, of Modesto, California, and Danny Tollison and James Lopez, both of Eagle Rock; one daughter, Laura Lopez, of Branson; three grandchildren, Rachael, Alex, and Cali; and one sister, Diane Duncan, of Modesto, California.

In addition to his parents, Ronnie was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny Tollison and Donald Tollison, and two sisters, Julia Tollison and Louise Rogers.

A private family burial will be held at the Springfield Veterans Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
