Rose "Midge" Lee Berry, age 75, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away at Mercy Hospital in Joplin, Missouri, on Monday, February 14, 2022. Daughter of Alonzo and Lucinda (Potter) Wallace, Rose was born on March 31, 1946, in Toe County, near Miami, Oklahoma.
Rose loved the outdoors, enjoying camping and fishing regularly. She was skilled in both knit and crochet and she was an excellent cook. Roses's greatest joy, however, was her family and she especially coveted moments spent with her grandchildren. Rose was a precious woman who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her life-long partner, James Berry, of Cassville, Missouri, Rose is survived by one son, Lelan Wolfe and his wife Tonia; two grandsons, Evan Wolfe and Brett Williams; one granddaughter, Destiny Wolfe; two great grandchildren, Tatum Wolfe and Selina Wolfe; and two sisters, Luella Dunbar and Joretta Smith; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, Alonzon and Lucinda Wallace; two brothers, John and Ray; and one sister, Rosetta.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2022, at the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri, with burial to follow at Clio Cemetery in Jenkins. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022, at the funeral home.
