Ruth Lavaughan Frank, age 81, of Seligman, Missouri, passed away Friday, September 20, 2024, at her home in Seligman. Mrs. Frank, daughter of David Lee and Dovie Pearl (Evans) Oxford, was born on February 1, 1943, in Rogers, Arkansas. On May 16, 1959, she was united in marriage to Arvin "Termite" Frank in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She worked at Baldwin Piano, then spent 25 years at Daisy BB until retirement. After retirement she had a helping hand in her husband's butcher shop as well as his pest control business. Ruth enjoyed the being outdoors tending to her garden, and in the kitchen canning and baking, she loved her grandchildren immensely. She was a member of the congregation of Jehovah's Witness in Avoca, Arkansas.
Survivors include four daughters, Sheila Bradshaw of Forum, Arkansas, Leisa Hackett and her husband John, Tawnya Gundel, and Melanie Gundel and her husband Dennis, all of McDonald County; seven grandchildren, April Fritz, Andrew Gundel, Samuel Gundel, Clarence Gundel, Katie Ruth Cooper, Samantha Gundel and Thomas Gundel; and ten great-grandchildren.
In addition to her loving husband Arvin of 57 years she was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, Mavis Lynch, Hessie Fields, and Annis Cranford, three brothers, Dale Oxford, Robert Dallas Oxford and infant brother Fredie Oxford, one great grandson, Bryce Allan Cooper, three sons-in-law, Kenneth McCool, Fred Bradshaw, and Larry Gundel, one sister-in-law Rebecca Rogers.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 28,2024, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Avoca, Arkansas.
Memorials can be made to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Avoca, Arkansas and entrusted to White Funeral home and Crematory.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
