Samantha Ann Legg, age 82, of Verona, Missouri, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2020, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri.  Samantha, daughter of William Daniel and Gertrude (Hirrill) Wyrick, was born on May 10, 1938, in Weleekta, Oklahoma.  On December 29, 1965, she was united in marriage to Phillip Legg in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. On December 19, 1969 she dedicated her life to serving others by becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses in Muskogee, Oklahoma.  Samantha lived life to the fullest, always had a smile on her face, and loved to laugh.  She also enjoyed cooking, canning, crossword puzzles, and reading.  Samantha loved her family and friends dearly and she will be greatly missed.

Survivors include one son, David Legg, of Verona; three daughters, Delores Hinds, of Verona, Beth Alexander and her husband Kent, of Monett, and Jessica Marley and her husband Greg, of McAlester, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, Jordan Hinds, Joshua Alexander and his wife Amanda, Morgan Huddleston and her husband Wyatt, Matison Booth and her husband Ian, and Ely Alexander and his wife Brittney; and three great-grandchildren with one on the way.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Danny Boggs; one daughter, Sammie Boggs; and one grandson, John Washburn.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
