Obituary

Sandra "Sandy" Lorene Warner, age 79, of Shell Knob, Missouri, passed away at her home on Monday, September 28, 2020. Mrs. Warner, daughter of Jesse and Lorene (Collins) Weaver, was born on January 19, 1941, in St. Louis. On March 17, 1962, she was united in marriage to Merrill Warner; he preceded her in death on December 15, 1997. Sandy was a faithful servant of the Lord and was always thinking of others by reaching out in a time of need by sending postcards in the mail to lift up their spirits. She enjoyed making baby quilts for family and friends new bundles of joy. Sandy was a very loving mother who was always there for her children. She was also very proud of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved spending any time she could with each of them. Sandy had a heart of gold who was very loving and would welcome others with open arms; she was a dear friend to so many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her two daughters, Tammy Klausner and her significant other Michael Jarvis, of Mahomet, Illinois, and Bonnie Long and her significant other Robert Alsop, of St. Louis; three grandchildren, Bradley Klausner and his significant other Andrea Stiverson, Michelle Hulstrom and her husband Brandon "B.J.," of Galva, Illinois, and Caleb Long, of St. Louis; six great-grandchildren, Anthony, Braxton, Merrill "Jake," Sawyer, Tucker, and Emily; one brother, Terry Weaver, of Troy, Missouri; three sisters, Patricia Jones, Donna Kilgore, and Candace Picker, all of St. Louis; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jess Weaver, and her brother in-law, Jerry Jones.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 2, 2020, at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace Community Fellowship Church in Shell Knob, Missouri, with Pastor Joe Evans officiating; burial to follow at Painter Cemetery in Shell Knob.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Central Crossing Fire Department in Shell Knob, and entrusted to the White Funeral Home and Crematory, P.O. Box 890, Cassville, MO 65625.

Service arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
