Sharon Duncan, age 69, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on Friday, May 8, 2020, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Mrs. Duncan, daughter of Raymond and Minnie (Dixon) Spivey, was born on January 20, 1951, in Grand Prairie, Texas. On December 20, 1969, she was united in marriage to Paul Duncan. Mrs. Duncan worked many years as a secretary for Community Faith Chapel where she and her husband were always willing to help when needed. She enjoyed crafts, gardening, and bird watching. Mrs. Duncan was loving and caring and would always welcome others with her contagious smile and a warm hug. She was a dear friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Paul Duncan, of Cassville; one daughter, Karen Brown and her husband Erick, of Franklin, Massachusetts; four grandchildren, Christian, Taron, Damien, and Erica; one brother, Bobby Spivey, of Grand Prairie, Texas; four sisters, Alice Mudd and her husband Felix, of Port Lavaca, Texas, Linda Jackson and her husband Kenneth, of Longview, Texas, Patty Bement and her husband Jack, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Teresa Fry and her husband Ken, of Irving, Texas; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Sharon was preceded in death by her son, John Duncan; five brothers; and two sisters.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2020, at Community Faith Chapel in Cassville, with Pastor Rick Cooper and  Paul Duncan officiating.
