Sharon "Kay" Gautney, age 69, of Seligman, Missorui, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. Mrs. Gauteny, daughter of Jim and Florence (Bargay) Skelton, was born on August 24, 1949, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. She enjoyed working in her yard, her garden, and playing cards. Mrs. Gautney loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them any chance she could.
Survivors include three sons, Jerry Tate and his wife Kacey, of Wheaton, Gary Tate, of Springfield, and Brandon Gautney and his wife Crystal, of Seligman; seven grandchildren, Caleb, Logan, Audrey, Austin, Traven, Brentley, and also Lexie Lou who was very special to her and helped her face many obstacles; four brothers, Harold Skelton, Bones Skelton, Johnny Skelton, and Steve Skelton; two sisters, Nancy Chestnut and Jeanie Thomas; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Larry Skelton and Sid Skelton; and two sisters, Debbie Skelton and Mary Jane Douglas.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, March 22, 2019, at the White Funeral Home with Pastor Ron Trebarton officiating. Burial to follow at Mineral Springs Cemetery in Cassville. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 21 st at the funeral home.
Funeral services are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
