Shirley Ann Mabbett, age 85, of Exeter, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, surrounded by her daughter and great-grandson.  Mrs. Mabbett, daughter of Troy and Nellie (Vance) Manchester, was born on March 29, 1935, in Kansas City, Missouri.  Upon graduating high school she subsequently went to work for San Diego Unified School District in San Diego, California, as a secretary from where she retired after many years of service and friendships were made. Shirley loved decorating and tinkering with her house; she was a perfectionist and always wanted it to look perfect. She was always on the go, enjoyed gardering, and spending time with her daughter and great-grandson.

Survivors include one daughter, Kathi Jones, of Cassville; two sons, Robert Baum and his wife Joanna, of Cassville, and Gary Baum, of San Diego, California; two grandchildren, Robbie Baum and Ryan Baum; one great-grandson, Lucas Donovan, of Cassville; two brothers, Troy Manchester and his wife Shirley, of Carthage, Texas, and Dwight Perkins and his wife Corrine, of Newton, Mississippi; two sisters, Geraldine Miller and her husband Trev, of Paragold, Arkansas, and Patricia Williamson and her husband Orville, Alpine, California; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tiffany Dawn Martin.

No services are scheduled at this time. A private gathering of family will take place in San Diego, California, with the scattering of her cremains.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
