Terry Dobyns Sr, age 69, of Purdy, Missouri, passed away at his home, on December 7,2023, Son of Thomas and Aline (Mammen) Dobyns, Terry was born September 16, 1954, in Taylorville, Illinois, and was united in marriage to Tracy VanSandt on March 22, 1991; she survives. He enjoyed living on the farm and spending as much time as he could out there, Terry also, really enjoyed being a mechanic.

Survivors include two sons, John Dobyns and his significant other Saurina Ukenbauker of Wood River, Illinois, and Cody Dobyns and his fiancé Tori Edwards of Carthage, Missouri; one daughter, Lacey Rivera and her significant other Derek Larson of Monett, Missouri; 14 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Rose VanSandt; one sister Helen Sheedy of Palmer, Illinois; and a very special niece Renee Masterson of Illinois; and a special sister in law Bobbi Alexander and husband James of Butterfield, Missouri.

Preceded in death by one son Terry L. Dobyns Jr. and one daughter Jennifer Ann Dobyns.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
