Theodore "Ted" Carter, age 76, of Cassville, Missouri, passed away on December 22, 2024, at Mercy Hospital in Rogers, Arkansas. Mr. Carter, son of John and Josephine Tidwell Carter, was born on January 3, 1948, in Columbus, Ohio. He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Vietnam War, where he received two Purple Hearts and one Bronze Star. He was employed in the construction industry where he was in the plaster business. He married Joyce Foxen on December 10, 1969; she survives. Ted enjoyed camping, motorcycles, fishing, and enjoyed riding his ranger. He was a member of the VFW Monett post 4207.

Additional survivors include two sons, Sebastian and his wife Heidi, of Cassville, and Quentin and his wife Tammy of Neosho; eight grandchildren Brittney, Jacob, Jasmine, John, Nicholas, Brianna, Benjamin and Curtis; and 18 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation or Tunnel to Towers Foundation and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory.
