Thomas "Tom' Beers, age 77, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on Monday, June 18, 2018. Mr. Beers, son of Robert and Lelia (Blevins) Beers, was born on July 10, 1940, in Nebraska City, Nebraska. On October 5, 1963, he was united in marriage to Maxine R. Bennett in Hiawatha, Kansas. He enjoyed working in the yard, watching old westerns, and going to the casino. Family was very important to Tom and he loved spending time with them. He was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include his wife of fifty-four years, Maxine Beers, of Eagle Rock; one son, Clinton Beers and his wife Lacy, of Nixa; three daughters, Gina Dougherty and her husband Patrick, of Eagle Rock, Lisa Walford, of Branson, and Carla Vassar and her husband David, of Carson city, Nevada; nine grandchildren, Miranda Walford, Marissa Walford, Shannan Vassar, Devin Vassar, Justin Kramer, Kali Kramer, Patrick Dougherty, Jr., Josilynn Dougherty and Laura Beers; five great-grandchildren, Cody, Ki, Rylan, Skyler, and Charlotte; his niece, Deedee Beers, of Sydney, Iowa; and his nephew, Tommy Beers, of Texas.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert "Bob" Beers; and one nephew, Robert Beers.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
