Obituary

Virginia Yvonne Ohmart, age 90, of Golden, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Roaring River Health and Rehab in Cassville. Mrs. Ohmart, daughter of Dick and Cathrin (Krell) Bruner, was born on July 5, 1930, in Kismet, Kansas. On May 3, 1997, she was united in marriage to Jack E. Bleich. Mrs. Ohmart enjoyed boating and camping; as a part of a camping club, she and Jack traveled the country visiting different camp sites. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Eureka Springs, where she was very active in various roles. Family was very important to Virginia and she loved every chance she could get to spend time with them. She was a loving and caring woman who left a lasting impression in so many lives and will be forever missed.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Bleich, of Golden; one son, Richard Ohmart, of Independence; three daughters, Donna Allen, of Cassville, Lynn Killian and her husband Jerry, of Lee's Summit, and Darlene Ohmart, of Berryville, Arkansas; her daughter in-law, Cindy Ohmart, of Kansas City, Kansas; one step-son, J.R. Bleich, of Mississippi; eight grandchildren; one step-grandson; sixteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Tommy Ludwick and his wife Thale, of Minnesota; one sister, Kathy Kumpf, of Pierce City; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Donald Ohmart, and her sister, Sandra Kamys.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 17, 2020, at the First Christian Church in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, with Pastor Mark Golaway officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the church.

Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19, 2020, at the Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas.
