Walter Larry Betts, age 76, of Washburn, Missouri, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2019, at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri. Mr. Betts, son of Walter and Leona (Cordrey) Betts, was born on May 21, 1943, in Canon City, Colorado. On October 6, 1962, he was united in marriage to Gladys Morrow. He enjoyed racing and loved anything outdoors such as fishing and hunting. Walter loved spending time with family, his wife, kids and grandkids. He was a friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife Gladys Betts, of Washburn; one son, Robert Betts and his wife Andrea, of Warsaw; one daughter, Brenda Wall and her husband Steve, Ozark; one sister, Trudy Croope, of Floridia; fourteen grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, William Betts, and ten brothers and sister.

Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2019, at the Washburn First Baptist Church with Pastor Jim Erwin officiating.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the White Funeral Home and Crematory, Cassville, Missouri.
