William "Billy" Dale Horrocks, age 72, of Eagle Rock, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Cox South Hospital in Springfield. Mr. Horrocks, son of Dale Howard and June Horrocks, was born on June 2, 1950, in Butler, Missouri. At the age of 13, his family moved to Kansas City, and he graduated from North Kansas City High School. Subsequent to his high school graduation, he worked at numerous automotive and body shops as an automotive painter until he retired and moved to Eagle Rock in 2004. He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Cassville Branch. Billy enjoyed hunting, fishing, doing puzzles, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include three brothers, Richard Horrocks and his wife Connie, of Glenaire, Clayton Horrocks and his wife Kim, of Eagle Rock, and David Horrocks and his wife Tammie, of Smithville; two sisters, Teresa Carkeek of Glenaire, and Karen Searcy of Eagle Rock; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Deloris Horrocks.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, June 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Appleton City Cemetery in Appleton City, Missouri, with David Horrocks and Mike Quick officiating.

Memorials may be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints or the Eagle Rock Golden Mano Fire Protection District, and entrusted to the White Funeral Home & Crematory in Cassville, Missouri.
