Steve Skelton, age 57, of Crockett, Texas, formerly of Seligman,
Missouri, passed away on February 16, 2023, at Woodland Heights
Medical Center in Lufkin, Texas. Mr. Skelton, son of James and
Florence (Bargey) Skelton, was born on January 23, 1966, in Eagle Rock, Missouri. He was a graduate of Southwest High School in Washburn, and worked for the City of Nacogdoches, Texas, for 12 years. On September 9, 1994, Steve married Tina Dodson; she survives. He loved to fish and hunt and had a love of horses.

Additional survivors include one son, Jesse Skelton, of Prairie Grove, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Annabelle Sawyers and Jakob Skelton; one brother, Johnny Skelton, of Seligman; and two sisters, Jeanna Thomas, of Bentonville, Arkansas, and Nancy Chestnut, of Rogers, Arkansas. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Tyler Skelton, and four brothers and three sisters.
